A Book is a book feature that we’re going to slide in from post to post, and Phaidon’s wallpaper* city guide - Dubai is our first feature.

You’d expect the coming words; it’s a city guide, how good could it possibly get? Well, it is quite good! You’d expect a boring dull booklet that reads like a product leaflet, with average photos at best. But when it’s a Phaidon, it becomes a light, joyful read that could be flipped through every once in a while when looking for a good sight.

What attracted me in the book was nothing other than its featured photographs; it is nothing short of great. The photos are better than any photos for the buildings and places in any other place. As well, the briefs written are fairly informative of some minor details, all wrapped up in a nice little book, for 10$.
