On ROM
When I posted about Libeskind’s ROM, I wasn’t really stating that I actually like it or not. I just happened to post a collection of photos of the new building. Meanwhile, I found a feature on CITY OF SOUND about a guy called Andrew blum who wrote this piece that discusses Toronto and ‘The Sense of Place’ in the shadows of the new building that SEEMS to bug a few people.

Haitham Issam said on Jul 18 07 at 11:16 pmHey Shawn, the pictures seem to reflect acceptance (probably libeskind’s “starchitect” status helped), but on the other hand a few perceive it as a cliche of Libeskind’s other works.
