I went to Iraqi ceramic artist Aws Al-Bahrani’s exhibition in Sharjah Art Gallery last week. He tries to prtray his identity through his fugures, the horses, the people, the palaces. Though I couldn’t enjoy his works that much because I was on a hurry.
Iraqi Artist AWS AL BAHRANY is a ceramic artist who has many contributions in several Arabic Countries. In this exhibition, he presents a number of his mural colorful works that are rich with folk national symbols expressing his national concern. In addition, he presents a group of art works that holds deep meaning, all with a distinguish style and a total awareness of the material that he deals with.
